Project management is one of the most challenging and complex tasks in the technological world.
It is a discipline of its own, characterized by three main parameters:
- meeting deadlines.
- staying within budget.
- meeting quality requirements (performance).
My Experience
Throughout my 45 years of professional activity, I have been involved in every possible aspect of project management: as a client and a supplier. I have worked on development projects (BUILD TO SPEC) and implementation projects (BUILD TO PRINT), as a project manager and manager of multiple project managers, working both domestically with defense industries and internationally.
I have worked with institutional and private clients, managed suppliers and subcontractors, conducted project oversight, and interfaced with all supporting entities: finance, quality assurance, procurement, engineering, production planning and safety.
I offer to share my knowledge and experience in establishing or improving a project management system by:
- Familiarizing with the company/organization: the scope of activities, type of activity, projects and external clients.
- Learning the current situation: organizational structure, working processes, management routines and existing management tools.
- Analyzing the current situation: identifying gaps, weaknesses and areas for improvement.
- Preparing an action plan for improving the project management system: organizational structure, defining roles, authority and responsibilities. defining methodologies for project management and oversight, implementing management tools (computerized and functional) and defining internal interfaces.
- Accompanying the implementation: guiding and monitoring the project management team, making adjustments and changes "on the fly."
